Drug addiction recovery focused podcast The Rehab comes to MHNR Network
Addiction treatment center director Dr. Mark Leeds hosts The Rehab, a podcast dedicated to exploring different approaches to opioid and other drug addiction recovery including medical treatment, therapy, self-help and spiritual recovery groups.
Past show topics include Narcissistic Parental Abuse and Addiction, Overcoming Opioid Addiction and the Science of Spirituality. Past guests include Anna Yusim, M.D. and Karen Newell,Co-Founder of Sacred Acoustics.
The Rehab evolved from Dr. Leeds’ interest in using radio and the internet to raise awareness about addiction and recovery alongside his treatment center work. He has published articles on KevinMD and Medical Economics. His collected blog posts have been published on Amazon in eBook format. This led to an online audience keen to know more about the possibilities for recovery, and to meeting MHNR Network CEO Kristin Walker. This meeting in turn led to the show becoming part of the network.
Dr. Leeds said, “I really enjoy being part of the network because it gives credibility to my efforts. I always tell prospective guests and audience members that I do the show as part of the MHNR network.”
