Join counselors Melanie Vann and Melissa Richards with host Kristin Sunanta Walker discussing how highly empathic individuals end up walking on eggshells while navigating relationships. Loose editing on this one as we really bare our souls and get into the muck of emotional mortar fire. How do we identify these patterns early on and decide whether or not we want to engage.

The shows where we are steeped in our own vulnerability are always the most downloaded. This is one of those shows.

ChristineLouisDeCanonville-3D-Single BOOK-CoverOur first show with Christine Louis de Canonville aired in December of 2014. We’ve been able to host 17 episodes on Mental Health News Radio with everyone from CEOs of behavioral health software organizations, mental health professionals, volunteers in behavioral health, and best selling authors. Our show was started in May of 2014 and our guest request list is ever growing. In the beginning we all but begged people to join the show, now we have a four month waiting list. It is a labor of love and we are proud to provide insight, education, and resources for our global audience.

Our most popular guest by over 7,000 downloads is author, counselor, and educator Christine Louis de Canonville. We received email requests from all over the world asking when she would return for another show. We introduced Christine to our listeners to discuss her work and her book THE 3 FACES OF EVIL – Unmasking The Full Spectrum Of Narcissistic Abuse (published April of 2015). After reading one of her blog articles titled The Typical Narcissistic Woman as a Friend I realized how much emphasis is put on men with Narcissistic Personality Disorder. As you’ll hear during our interview men do not outnumber women when it comes to this disorder.

cropped-ipad-art-wide-437029053-420x0In over 20 years as a business consultant, I’ve encountered many different CEO archetypes, come across quite possibly every form they can take—both the great and the grateful as well as the overcompensating and the underperforming. For the good with the bad, I will forever be grateful because what I have learned from these experiences has afforded me a wealth of lessons that act as riches I can not only use myself but also pass along to future clients and colleagues from here on out.
