Enabled Intelligence is a new start-up company in DC that has a integrated work force and a different way interview their prospectus employees.

They have the standard application, but they look beyond the resume or your background. What they are more interested in, is you knowledge and background with computers.  They don’t interview they employees like normal companies do, they don’t ask the traditional questions, they don’t ask questions at all.

What they do is they get to you, and find out what you are capable of. Also you are sent a aptitude test to see what you can and can not do.

They make their employees feel welcome and have things for those who are autistic feel more comfortable like, sensory inclusive rooms and have parties for them and much more.

Stories: A Chat with Life Coach Pol Kline

A Chat with Pol Kline

In this episode of Stories, I have a chat with new ASD Life Coach Pol Kline. I talk to about how he got into coaching. I ask him questions like where does he see the world in 5 years from now to what his favorite subject was in school.

Also in this episode at the very end I try something new, I do a word association with him and see what words pop into his head.  Pol is a very interesting man with a lot to offer those who are lucky enough to have him as a coach.

You can tell he is very modest when I ask his favorite curse word, he doesn’t say the word he just was “The all famous F bomb”

This was a very insightful interview.

You can also find out more about him here.

Nero-divergent or Nero-distinct

Which do you prefer Nerodivergant or Nerodisticnt

In this this Episode I talk with Tim Goldstein.

Tim is not your ordinary person, Tim was diagnosed with ASD late in life which has helped answer a lot of questions.  Tim has even gone to vocal coach to help him lower his voice. In this episode Tim also talks about why the term Nerodivergant is almost a negative word when we could be using something that sounds better like Nerodistinct.

Tim has worked for multiple companies such as Microsoft, Macy’s, and Chase just to name a few.
