Perrin P. White, MSP, CCC-SLP, COM®, RTY® 200 is a certified and licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA). She has extensive training in the identification and treatment of orofacial myofunctional disorders and is certified through the International Association of Orofacial Myology (IAOM). In December 2020, Perrin became a registered yoga teacher (RYT® 200) and later became a Certified YOGABODY Breathing Coach and Certified OxygenAdvantage Functional Breathing Trainer.

Perrin’s mission is to inform, empower, and support others through their breath, movement, and thought patterns utilizing breathwork, stretching, and meditation practices. Combining both her professional and personal background, Perrin loves most helping clients find their deepest, truest breath through better learning about their own bodies and what it is capable of. In February 2022,

Perrin founded Breathe Well Be Well which provides support for everything from anxiety to sleep apnea using breathing re-education and healing through functional breathwork, meditation, and the lens of curiosity over criticism.

Perrin also speaks to various groups on the benefits of breathwork and meditation, teaches weekly yoga, breathwork and meditation classes and offers various workshops locally in Greenville, SC, where she is from.

Youturn Health Coach Annalynn is a beacon of hope for Caregivers

Dr. Arun Gupta on the Preventable Epidemic and ending the Opioid Crisis

Dr. Arun Gupta is an addiction doctor who says he will not retire until we resolve the Opioid Crisis. He believes this crisis could have been avoided altogether if doctors were allowed to properly do their jobs without interference from bureaucrats.
Dr. Gupta sees treating a patient with addiction the same way you would treat a diabetic patient; with compassion, empathy, and using a long-term approach. Using methods such as medically assisted treatment, Dr, Gupta sees people go from rock bottom to living full, productive lives. His book is a best seller and he hopes will get people to listen to his advice so we can turn the tide on the Opioid Crisis and start saving lives.

I am a primary care physician for 34 years. I started learning and practicing addiction medicine in 2006. I have done over 150 presentations trying to educate community physicians and social groups about various aspects of addiction. My primary interest is the lack of access to care for patients with Opioid use disorder or substance use disorder.

Kelly Castellani talks about the psychological abuse she endured and how she is fighting back

Kelly Castellani was in a 23-year-old marriage that nearly cost her her life. She bravely shares her story about years of emotional abuse in hopes to raise awareness that one in four women is being abused. She and her husband, Bob, created Silent Tears which gives financial support to organizations that take care of women and children who have left abusive relationships. She knows that sometimes it can seem harder to leave than to stay, and she wants women to have dignified places where they can go for safety.

Kelly will continue to fight for education and awareness and victim dignity.
She knows that talking about this will ultimately save lives!

Tara Storch of Taylor's Gift Gives Purpose to the Pain

Tara and Todd Storch took a parent’s worst nightmare and turned it into a life-giving organization. When the Storch family lost their daughter tragically, they donated her organs and gave others the gift of life. In the midst of great loss and grief, the Storches created a non-profit called Taylor’s Gift that educates families on the decision to donate their loved one’s organs.

A few years later, Taylor’s Gift created a program called Kindred Hearts to equip Caring Guides to walk alongside the families and provide support while they grieve.

I’m Sarah and I’m a recovering perfectionist and a serial burnout-overachiever. I’m also the Founder and Creator of Dreamgarten, a mom to two boys and a rescue dog, and a certified Qoya dance movement instructor. I started Dreamgarten because I see myself in so many other people who are showing up in their lives with this idea of perfection and the need for achievement in their work, in their relationships, and everywhere in between. And as a result, they are constantly navigating the overwork – burnout cycle, sometimes without even knowing what’s happening to their minds and bodies as a result.

In my own quest for perfection and achievement, I put myself last, made myself smaller, and burned myself out over and over again. Throughout school and into my professional life, I would work myself to sickness (mental or physical), take a vacation or a leave of absence and then go right back to it. Over time and to cope, I began to study methods to manage my own severe anxiety through yoga and dance.

I started to unravel my perfectionist, burnout-overachiever tendencies and help foster a deeper connection to my mind and body. I started to make space for a life that was less a pursuit of perfection and achievement and more a pursuit of grace, of spaciousness, of beauty, of meaning, of feeling everything, so that I could decide what was the next right action for me. At the same time, in my professional life, I began to create new ways of working because of the personal work I was doing myself. And vice versa, I started to apply the human-centered, design thinking methods I used to facilitate business problem solving to my personal questions. The more I practiced these methods, the more they worked their magic, and it’s scientifically based magic at that!

That’s where Dreamgarten was born, at the intersection of my own experiments to recover from burnout and my realization that I was not alone in placing society’s definition of success on my shoulders and seeking perfection and achievement to accomplish it. I began to use my methods at work as a leader with my team and with my friends in their personal endeavors. I believe that when you guide people to find what’s inside themselves and encourage them to think about the human at the center of any problem, the creativity they bring to solving those problems is endless.
