New Behavioral Health Podcast ‘Beyond the Bars Radio’ Hosted by Rob Lohman M.B.A, Addiction Interventionist and Recovery Coach

Mental Health News Radio is proud to announce a new podcaster to their Network. Rob Lohman, M.B.A. will be hosting a new podcast named Beyond the Bars Radio. This podcast will focus on recovery from addiction, incarceration, and advocacy. Rob comes to the field of mental health from an interesting perspective: his own life experiences. Rob won his own battle with addiction and redirected his hopes and dreams to form “Lifted From the Rut”, a recovery coaching platform. Rob has certifications through The Addictions Academy in Interventions, Recovery Coaching, Christian Recovery Coaching, Family and Christian Family Coaching, and Food and Gambling Addictions. These tools afford him the skill-set he needs to help others break free from their own addictions and hardships. “The Addiction Recovery Hub” serves as an umbrella to Rob’s many projects. He hopes to make the hub a household name for those suffering from addiction. Rob has also self-published a book that has the intention of inspiring others to persevere through their own journeys. “The Momentum Journey: Breakdown at Exit 63” has been described by reviewers as a dose of inspiration.

Mental Health News Radio Announces New Behavioral Health Podcast Network

Mental Health News Radio is proud to announce the creation of their new behavioral health podcast network; “Mental Health News Radio Network”. The network will host podcasters specializing in different areas of behavioral under the MHNR umbrella. While Mental Health News Radio loves hosting its own podcast, they understand that destigmatizing mental illness is no easy task. To maximize the efforts, they created a family of podcasters that are dedicated to niche audiences. Many of the new network podcasters began as former guests of MHNR who became interested in hosting their own podcast.  After being approached multiple times by numerous professionals, Kristin Walker, CEO of MHNR, decided it was the opportune moment to branch out and make her endeavor global.

Mental Health News Radio Network, commonly known as MHNR network, based out of Asheville, North Carolina, is a network of podcasts focused on mental health and how it affects all aspects of individuals’ lives: Emotional, Physical, Financial, Spiritual, Entertainment, Sports, Politics, Technological, and more. By covering such a comprehensive conference discussing the many different issues that gay Black men face, MHNR endeavors to further educate the public about taboo conversations. The In My Mind conference hopes to make these topics mainstream, remove stigma and shame, and encourage embracing healing methods and therapies.
