High Level Narcissist Behind Closed Doors – regressed, enraged, demanding

The psychic structure of the narcissistic personality is not built on the foundations of a real self. Rather the narcissist is rewarded early on for the characterlogical qualities of the false self.  This inauthentic self develops as a result of the parent’s inability to resonate psychologically and emotionally with the individuality of their child. Rather the parent, often narcissistic, rewards his/her child of ego supplies – praise, acceptance, adulation for responding to the demands of this parent. The core true self is left in a state of psychological damage: hollow, bleak and empty. As the budding narcissist grows, the false selves gain greater power over the personality along with steel strong defenses of denial, projection, regression and splitting. The false self persona of the high level narcissist can be very charming and compelling.

The high level narcissist operates in a state of regression back to the age of two years of age.

Those who are partnered with or married to a high level narcissist

are subjected to the constant vile projections of their high level narcissistic spouses.

You are the opposite of the high level narcissist.

You  are authentic, activating the real authentic self. Give yourself great credit for your unique individuality, insights, empathy and perseverance.  You are traveling along your own pathways of transformation, creativity and restoration. Wishing you the fullness of your talents, creative gifts and  your spiritual journey as you define this for yourself.
