How Father & Son Being Roommates In College Healed Their Relationship

Many of our listeners probably they got along better with their kids. Dr. Kevin Fell & his son Austin increase their bond by living for five years as college roommates. Dr. Fell got his Ph.D. in psychology and Austin transformed from a high school dropout, felon, and suicidal teen into a college grad, loving dad, and thriving professional with a clean record.

What did you learn about each other during your experience together in college?

As of today, you both work with parents to help them reconnect, repair their relationships, and solve problems with even the most difficult teens. What are some of the methodologies you developed for doing this?

Did either of you ever complain to the RA about your roommate?
