How to Thrive When Narcissists Break All the Rules

Narcissists these days are getting away with private and public outrages and cruelties. We are surrounded by them. They are covert, overt and everything in-between. Beneath the thin veneer of their many false selves is an ignominious piece of work – filled with delusional self entitlement, raw aggression and lack of conscience.

Narcissists plot in secret how they will take another person down, especially if they perceive that the individual is blocking their immediate goals of money, influence and power.

As long as they reach their goal of possessing the person of the moment, that is their primary focus.

For the narcissist there are no rules, no mercy, no kindness, no civility, no core of humanity. So often the narcissist has others in his pockets feeling off the ego gratifications. The gist, promises, lifestyles, the flash, seductions, all the shiny objects that are designed for you to acquiesce your heart, mind and soul to them.

You have come to a time of truth and reckoning. You now know the true nature of the narcissistic personality. This is a very significant series of events.

You are ready to thrive and move forward toward recovery, restoration and transformation. Put yourself first each day with self care practices: sleep and rest that you need and deserve, nourishing food that keeps you healthy and invigorated, movement and exercise that appeals to you, creative practices like unedited, spontaneous writing. You are persevering, growing and evolving each day.
