Autism Rocks and Rolls: A Podcast For and By Those on the Autism Spectrum
“So Simple, Yet so Complicated” ~ Sam Mitchell
Sam Mitchell, the host of Autism Rocks and Rolls, is a senior in high school with autism. While he has had his trials and tribulations through the years, Sam continues to strive for success with each endeavor.
Autism Rocks and Rolls has grown a great deal over the last year and has become quite successful with over 5,000 downloads. To date, Sam feels his biggest guest of all was Dr. Temple Grandin, professor in Animal Science at Colorado State University and autism activist. He has also had Armani Williams, the first openly autistic NASCAR driver, American Idol rocker James Durbin, who himself has autism and Tourette’s. Sam was given the opportunity to meet his idol, WWE Hall of Famer, Mick Foley, and is looking forward to having him as a guest on his podcast!
In addition to hosting his podcast, Sam is also a motivational speaker, entrepreneur, and loves to promote his podcast and business. Sam has made it to the top 10 in the People’s Choice Podcast Awards, placed second in Indiana state for the JAG Entrepreneur project, and was selected as the best business at the CEO trade show in Indiana. He has amazing guests on his show and is in the top 200 podcasts in Canada.
