Former veteran police officer and mental health advocate Aaron Wanserski hosts the Center for Suicide Awareness podcast. The podcast, which recently joined the Mental Health News Radio Network, aims to start conversations about suicide and mental health to reduce stigma.
Wanserski started the podcast in partnership with The Center for Suicide Awareness, to share the voices of those who have lost loved ones to suicide, and who have attempted suicide.
Drawing on his personal and professional experience in law enforcement Wanserski uses an informal, conversational interview style, which lets his guests tell their stories at their own pace and in their own way,
Guests come from all walks of life and range from celebrities to everyday people with valuable information to share.
The Center for Suicide Awareness podcast airs weekly. New episodes are released on Thursdays.
