Walking Through Walls with Philip Smith

Walking Through Walls with Philip Smith “Philip Smith’s compelling readable memoir of his father—a psychic, exorcist, hands-on healer, and… decorator!—is as entertaining as it is bizarre, all the way to its unexpected and deeply moving conclusion.” —John Berendt, author of Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil For the first time since 2014, Bestselling Author & Renowned Artist Philip Smith returns to the Outer Limits of Inner Truth Radio Show. Philip talks about his Father Lew Smith whom some could say has similarities to legendary mystic Edgar Cayce. Philip Smith’s Extended Bio Philip Smith’s pictographic work was first seen in the seminal Pictures Exhibition at Artists Space. Curated by Douglas Crimp, the show included Robert Longo, Sherrie Levine, Troy Brauntuch, Jack Goldstein and Philip Smith. These five artists established the movement that has become known as The Pictures Generation that now includes Cindy Sherman, RichardPrince, Laurie Simmons and others. The curious and psychologically-charged images in Smith’s new paintings are drawn from found imagery in 1950s Cold War spy manuals, lingerie ads, books on mysticism and numerology, lost magic books and early genetic diagrams. Smith works the canvas like a physicist’s blackboard where he can postulate new image formulations and equations. The paintings are characterized by slightly visible erased imagery that serves as both memory and ghost- like images reminiscent of Smith’s childhood that was filled with séances and talking spirits. The result is a disorienting universe characteristic of Smith’s long association with both pop culture and metaphysical practices. “I think of the paintings really as drawings, as if the canvas were just a large sheet of paper. This allows me to work freely and automatically as if in some sort of trance state. The result is somewhat similar to the intent of Jain paintings from India or Tibetan thangkas, which serve to open a door to another realm. This often results in a curious sensation of time travel for the viewer.” Smith’s work has been included in both the Whitney and Beijing Biennials and is in the permanent collection of the Whitney, Boston Museum of Fine Arts, Dallas Museum of Art, Miami Art Museum, Detroit Institute of Art, among others. Smith’s unusual life story has been captured in his memoir, WALKING THROUGH WALLS, published by Simon and Schuster. It is the true story of growing up with a father who discovers that he has supernatural powers and can talk to the dead and heal the sick. SHOWTIME has acquired the book for a weekly television series, now in development.

Spiritual Healing with MDMA

The Outer Limits of Inner Truth examines the medicinal & spiritual benefits of MDMA. Also known ecstasy, MDMA is a synthetic compound that produces hallucinations, feelings of emotional warmth and high levels of energy. The same psychoactive properties that make ecstasy so popular with partygoers may also make it useful in treating post-traumatic stress disorder, or PTSD. Outer Limits of Inner Truth Show Guest Key: 02:14 – Dr. Julie Holland 25.01 – James Giordano, PhD. 42:77 – Psychic Medium Kerrie O’Connor 47:33 – Psychic Medium Lisa Caza Other research has found that MDMA has robust anticancer properties, particularly for leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma. In 2011, researchers from the University of Birmingham found that a slightly modified form of ecstasy was 100 times more potent at destroying cancer cells than the original form of MDMA. “Further work is required, but this research is a significant step forward in developing a potential new cancer drug,” the researchers said in a statement. [Source – Live Science] Featured Guests Include: Dr. Julie Holland Dr. Julie Holland is a board-certified psychiatrist in New York City. As an undergraduate at the University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Holland majored in the “Biological Basis of Behavior,” a series of courses combining the study of psychology and neural sciences, with a concentration in psychopharmacology, or drugs and the brain. In 1992, Dr. Holland received her medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine, where she performed research on auditory hallucinations, extensively interviewing nearly one hundred psychotic patients. In 1996, she completed a psychiatric residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center, where she was the creator of a research project treating schizophrenics with a new medication, obtaining an IND from the Food and Drug Administration. In 1994, she received the Outstanding Resident Award from the National Institute of Mental Health. From 1996 to 2005, Dr. Holland ran the psychiatric emergency room of Bellevue Hospital on Saturday and Sunday nights. A liaison to the hospital’s medical emergency room and toxicology department, she is considered an expert on street drugs and intoxication states, and lectures widely on this topic. She published a paper in the Journal of Psychoactive Drugs, describing a resurgence of the drug phenomenon smoking marijuana soaked in embalming fluid, which may be a carrier for PCP. She is available for forensic consultations involving embalming fluid intoxication. During her college years, Dr. Holland grew interested in a new drug being used as a psychotherapeutic catalyst, and authored an extensive research paper on MDMA (ecstasy), resulting in multiple television appearances, forensic consultations, and a book, Ecstasy: The Complete Guide. Ascended Being Chung Fu – Part IV

Chung Fu is an ascended being who has been bringing his teachings through to humanity for at least the last 50 years. Chung Fu chose his name from the I Ching, Hexagram 61, meaning Inner Truth. Chung Fu has been speaking through Sally Pullinger for over 40 years. The thread of Inner Truth that runs throughout the teachings of Chung Fu, can also be followed as it runs through the teachings of many ascended beings through many mediums and channels at this time. Inner Truth is just that, truth that comes from ‘within’, from within the Universe of Light that pre-exists the physical universe. Within the teachings of Chung Fu, there is as much wisdom in the ‘dark’ as in the ‘light’. Chung Fu brings us a message of constant hope and positive potential. Within this hope and positivity he entirely embraces the despair and negativity that manifests within the duality of our human consciousness, teaching us how to love each other and ourselves with an ever more compassionate and inclusive embrace. As life unfolds and we work with these principles, we find that everything makes total sense, so long as we surrender to its deep connection inside our souls, so long as we understand that there is an aspect of us, our higher self, that is pure light, and is ever shining upon us from within, showing us where our human selves need to grow. The practices brought forward by Chung Fu are in many senses familiar, and very ancient. We remember them from deep within. And we are encouraged to bring them into a very simple and accessible method, to practice them daily, to bring them right into our very ordinary lives, to breathe them, to become a new kind of person in a world which really needs us all to change from within.

Children Who Remember Their Past Lives

The Outer Limits of Inner Truth Explores Why Some Children Remember Their Previous Life Incarnations… For the first time ever, we do a Forensic Soul Analysis on Cathy Bryd and her son Christian – both of whom shared a historic past life as mother & son. In addition, we offer tips, insights, and advice to parents who believe their kids may be remembering or are being affected by an earlier life incarnation. Featuring (In Order of Appearance) Tom Shroder / Author of “Old Souls: Compelling Evidence from Children Who Remember Past Lives” Cathy Byrd is the author of the book “The Boy Who Knew Too Much,” Psychic Medium Kerrie O’Connnor Astrologer Constance Stellas Psychic Empath Lisa Caza Extended Bios Tom Shroder Tom Shroder is an award-winning journalist, editor, and author of . His most recent book, “The Most Famous Writer Who Ever Lived: A True Story of My Family,” an investigation into the life of his grandfather, Pulitzer Prize winning author MacKinlay Kantor. Book critic Susan Cheever said, “In writing a history that is also a meditation on writing, Shroder has created a book that is as useful as it is fascinating.” Shroder is also the author of “Acid Test: LSD, Ecstasy, and the Power to Heal,” selected as a Washington Post notable book of 2014. His earlier book, the best-selling “Old Souls,” is a classic study of the intersection between mysticism and science. Shroder is also co-author, with former oil rig captain John Konrad, of “Fire on the Horizon, the Untold Story of the Gulf Oil Disaster.” Sebastian Junger, author of “War” and “The Perfect Storm,” says of Fire on the Horizon, “It’s one of the best disaster books I’ve ever read.. . I tore through it like a novel, but with the queasy knowledge that the whole damn thing is true. A phenomenal feat of journalism.” As editor of The Washington Post Magazine, he conceived and edited two Pulitzer Prize-winning feature stories. His most recent editing project, “Overwhemed: Work, Love, and Play When No One Has the Time,” by Brigid Schulte, was a New York Times bestseller. In addition to being an author and editor of narrative journalism, Shroder is one of the foremost editors of humor in the country. He has edited humor columns by Dave Barry, Gene Weingarten and Tony Kornheiser, as well as conceived and launched the internationally syndicated comic strip, Cul de Sac, by Richard Thompson. With humorist Barry and novelists Carl Hiaasen and Elmore Leonard, he concocted and edited “Naked Came the Manatee,” a satirical serial novel. Cathy Byrd Cathy Byrd is the author of the book “The Boy Who Knew Too Much,” which was released by Hay House on March 21, 2017. The movie rights for this remarkable story have recently been purchased by 20th Century Fox and producer DeVon Franklin who created the movies “Heaven is for Real” and “Miracles from Heaven.” Cathy is a residential real estate broker and mother of two young children who never had aspirations of becoming a writer until her two-year-old son began sharing memories of being a baseball player in the 1920s and ‘30s. What makes this story even more fascinating is that Byrd’s son Christian Haupt has been touted by the international media as being a baseball prodigy since the age of two when he was discovered on YouTube by Adam Sandler for a baseball-playing cameo role in the movie “That’s My Boy.” Shortly after his fourth birthday, Christian became the youngest person to ever throw a ceremonial first pitch at a Major League baseball game and his YouTube baseball videos have now been viewed by more than 15 million people. Christian’s case has been studied by Dr. Jim Tucker from the University of Virginia Medical School department of Psychiatry and Neurobehavioral Sciences. Dr. Tucker has continued the research on children’s past-life memories that was originally started by Dr. Ian Stevenson in 1967. The University of Virginia now has over 2,500 documented cases of children who remember past lives on file.

Moving Through the Maelstrom with Darryl Schoon

Spiritual Economist & Visionary Darryl School Offers Insights & Advice On The Coming Maelstrom About To Impact Humanity Darryl Robert Schoon (who has appeared on the Outer Limits of Inner Truth five previous times) is an author and speaker known for his writings on the economy, gold and the crisis that currently faces humanity. He graduated from college in 1966 with a degree in political science. He entered law school but soon dropped out to live in the Haight-Ashbury where he became a member of the hippie subculture in San Francisco. Now a recognized author and speaker, his articles on the economy have been widely published on the web and he has spoken before audiences in the USA, Europe and Australia, and on TV. He is also an ordained minister and owns a condom company. His current focus includes spirituality, metaphysics and economics. ===================== In Darryl Schoon’s Own Words…. I started questioning life far before I began questioning economics. In both, I began my inquiry with an open mind and am fortunate in that I found answers to the questions responsible for my inquiry. There is an interconnectedness that runs though all of life, including spirituality and economics. The economic collapse we are experiencing is not separate from spiritual issues. Indeed, they are intertwined at levels far deeper than imagined. Just as ‘money’ is not what we believe it to be, neither is ‘reality’. Both ‘money’ and ‘reality’ are derivatives. Today, money is a form of debt instead of savings and reality is only a shadow of what truly IS. The ancient Greeks, Plato and Socrates, understood this. Plato’s allegory of The Cave explains the difference between reality and what we believe it to be. The ancient Sanskit word, maya (illusion) also reflects this truth, that what we believe to be ‘reality’ is, in fact, a derivative of a greater state. Religion is the term used to describe humanity’s path to God. An excellent description of that path is that given by Cerithous, a description called, “The One True Religion”.

Psychic News with Roy Stemman

Roy Stemman is Editor of Psychic News Psychic News was a weekly British Spiritualist newspaper published from 1932 to July 2010, and revived with a change in ownership in December 2011. The first issue of the paper was published on 28 May 1932. The name of the paper was devised by one of its founding editors, Maurice Barbanell, who said that he was told to use it by his spirit guide. The other founding members were Hannen Swaffer, a Fleet Street journalist, and Arthur Findlay, a notable figure in the history of Spiritualism in Britain. In 1938 psychical researcher Nandor Fodor was attacked in the Psychic News newspaper for his skeptical evaluation of the Thornton Heath poltergeist case. Fodor sued the newspaper for libel.[1] The publisher of Psychic News from 1932 to 1980 was Psychic Press Ltd. The newspaper was next supported by the Spiritual Truth Foundation (STF). In 1995 the Spiritualists National Union (SNU) acquired it, and both the publishing and bookshop departments were relocated to Stansted Hall — better known as The Arthur Findlay College.[2] With the rise of the Internet PN added a web site, which included a bookstore and back issue division for online sales. Although the primary focus of the Psychic News was always Spiritualism, and it was strongly associated with the SNU even before that organization acquired ownership of it, it was the policy of PN to cover a wide variety of subjects of interest to its readers. For instance, in November 1947 the paper covered the fact that a committee of Anglican ministers had supported Spiritualism in 1936 and that the report had been suppressed by the Anglican Church. This investigative report by the Psychic News caused the Psychic News itself to become the topic of articles in The New York Times and the Los Angeles Times.[4][5] In the 1950s and 1960s, with the rise of the neopagan religion of Wicca, several articles about Wicca and witchcraft were published in the magazine, including “Genuine Witchcraft Is Defended” by Robert Cochrane. From that time forward the newspaper dealt with other paranormal, supernatural and New Age topics in addition to spiritualism.

The Eclipse with Astrologer Constance Stellas

How Will The Eclipses Impact You? The Astrophenom & Outer Limits of Inner Truth Radio Show Virtue Constance Stellas Reveals The Answer How to Keep Centered Amdist the August 2017 Eclipses Eclipses shake things up. In ancient times they were mysterious awesome events that augured great change. So it is today. by Constance Stellas, astrologer, comic book author, short stories, and sometimes playwright This August we have a pair of eclipses that will impact the USA and our current President. The first eclipse is a partial lunar eclipse on August 7. A lunar eclipse occurs when the earth cuts off the light of the Sun from the Moon depriving her of the usual bright illumination but still showing a shadow. Lunar eclipses always occur at the Full Moon. The signs that potentially will be most affected will be Aquarius, Scorpio, Leo, and Taurus. I say potentially because the degree of an eclipse must make a very close contact with a planet in a person’s natal chart before it is significant. Lunar eclipses align our feelings and actions and this may be positive or negative. For all the signs, however, the lunar eclipse will emphasize heightened emotions, stress and edginess. The juicier and stronger eclipse is the total solar eclipse on August 21. Dubbed The Great American Eclipse, the path of totality begins in Oregon and sweeps across the USA finishing in the Carolinas. What does this eclipse auger for the country? THRIVE GLOBAL has note worthily helped people detach from the news cycle and incessant worry about things we cannot control. This August will require even more discipline to keep centered. Specifically, the degrees of the August eclipse fall very close to an important degree in President Trump’s chart. The eclipse degree also corresponds to the fixed star Regulus which in ancient times was called the Royal Watcher of the North. When prominent in a natal chart this star denotes a highly placed person of great power who can become embroiled in vendettas and seeking vengeance and thus may fall from his high position. I don’t expect anything significant to occur on August 21 but time will tell. This eclipse is not an auspicious event for the presidency. The solar eclipse also occurs during a retrograde Mercury. Most star followers understand that this is a time period that confuses communications. Retrograde Mercury plus the eclipse gives a month where we could be saying “I don’t believe it,” frequently. The stars always give us guidance if we listen. The following is a mini guide to keeping cool and centered throughout August. ARIES: The eclipses will excite your impetuous nature. Add a lot more physical exercise to your routine. TAURUS: The eclipses are challenging and will frustrate some actions. Postpone major decisions and when/if you feel stuck hum, dance to familiar melodies, or do some gentle yoga exercises. GEMINI: The eclipses bring opportunities and mental stimulation. Perhaps too much; mind is buzzing and requires effort to focus and calm down. Exhale easily and then let a natural inhale come. CANCER: The eclipses increase environmental agitation. This set of eclipses is not personally agitating but Cancerians pick up the vibes. Stay near the home front. Walking by the water is also a good way to keep centered. LEO: BINGO, this solar eclipse is in your sign and the lunar in your opposite sign. You will feel like roaring and need to. Be mindful of how easily self-expression can escalate into self-dramatization. Dancing energetically is a good stress reliever. VIRGO: The eclipses are not directly affecting your sign. Help us all out with your grounded analysis and understanding of practical matters. Pleasant scents are always a treat. LIBRA: The eclipses demand your best balancing act. Feel this energy but don’t plunge into the chaos that you may hear about or witness. Keep to low key activity and surround yourself with beauty. SCORPIO: These eclipses are intense for you. But you handle intensity well. Avoid seething vengeance and anger. If these feelings bubble up create an image of destruction that soothes you but doesn’t impact other people. SAGITTARIUS: These eclipses speak to the better parts of your nature. You will be able to express bluntly what you see and hear and share this with us all. We need truth tellers this month. CAPRICORN: The eclipses are not particularly challenging to your chart. You will remain grounded and focused on your own ambitions. Keep the shoulders loose. Tension around you can mount. AQUARIUS: The eclipses are stimulating and agitating. You may experience insomnia or a heightened energy cycle. Creatively this month can be very good. Try calming herbs such as chamomile before you sleep. PISCES: These eclipses will encourage you to retreat. Keep a low profile and avoid crowds…too many conflicting vibrations. The eclipse energy will wane as we move into September. Calm sailing.

The Complete Herbal Guide with Stacey Chillemi

Stacey Chillemi’s books regularly appear on Amazon’s best-seller lists and have sold more than 100,000 copies. The Complete Herbal Guide: Heal Your Body Naturally and Maintain Optimal Health Using Alternative Medicine, Herbals, Vitamins, Fruits and Vegetables (December 2012) debuted at # 1 on Amazon’s best-seller list and has been rated five stars from numerous readers who purchased the book. My first published book, Epilepsy You’re Not Alone in 1998, helped millions of people understand and cope with their disorder enabling them to live a happy, healthy and productive life. Since that time, I have published numerous non-fiction and fiction books including The Complete Herbal Guide: A Natural Approach to Healing the Body, Epilepsy and Pregnancy: What Every Woman Should Know, Co-authored by Dr. Blanca Vasques, M.D., Faith, Courage, Wisdom, Strength and Hope, Natural Cures for Common Conditions and The Secrets of Happiness and Success: The Power Of Positive Thinking. My love affair with non-fiction and with health genre in general, began during my junior year of college when I was faced by numerous obstacles due to my epilepsy disorder. Hoping and praying that I would be able to finish college and not let my epilepsy disorder get the best of me, I decided to research my disorder hoping to find out more about my disorder and ways to cope with it. Sadly, there were not many books written about epilepsy during that era. The few books written were by doctors and the medical terminology flew right over your head. Determined to find the answers to my questions, “How can I graduate college when I am constantly having seizures?”, “How can I become a success in life and not let epilepsy destroy my hopes and dreams?”, “How do people with epilepsy cope with their disorder?” I decided to write an article to epilepsy foundation and asked them to publish it. I wanted to learn how others coped with their disorder. I received hundreds of letters from all over the United States and Canada. I decided to use the knowledge I gained to help myself and others by writing a self-help book called, Epilepsy You’re Not Alone. Writing that book changed my life. Letters poured out from readers thanking me for writing the book. I never realized how powerful words could be. My greatest gift was not figuring out how to help myself, it was being able to help others who struggled with the same problem. There is no greater gift in life than the gift of giving. I began writing seriously in 1994, penning the manuscript that would become Epilepsy You’re Not Alone. I held many jobs during those first years as a writer, finally settling in (much to our delight) to write full time in 2000. I am an active member in my community and I help organizations in New Jersey. I have written features for journals and newspapers. My articles have appeared in dozens of newspapers and magazines in North America and abroad. I won an award from the Epilepsy Foundation of America in 2002 for my help and dedication to people with epilepsy.
