About Dr. Whitney:
Dr. Whitney received his Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology in 2001 from the Forest Institute of Professional Psychology (FIPP). He interned at St. Charles Hospital and Rehabilitation Center (SUNY-Stony Brook Health Sciences System) in Port Jefferson, New York (Long Island). Dr.
Whitney has conducted outcome research and published on ways families can help their children cope with medical and developmental differences. He has 21 years of clinical experience working with children and adolescents with emotional and behavioral disorders,
and 17 years of experience working with families and children with autism and other developmental disabilities.
