Stellar Patth To Freedom

Imagine a street without traffic signs or road laws? Could you imagine the chaos and confusion that would result for drivers and pedestrians? Or imagine a world where good luck strikes unexpectedly, like lighting, and bad luck knocks the most stable of men off their pedestal in a single swoop. These occurrences could seem random and without conscience. Their effects life changing; however, this imaginary world, by many seems to be “real” life. Random. Hermetic Philosophy Like the road sign, life actually gives us directions. It is our job to be aware of those directions – as the wrong turn down a One-Way street could be fatal. Being aware of and understanding the rules allows us to drive making conscious and correct choices. Helping us effectively reach our destinations, promoting happiness in our lives and the safety of others. Here we would like to introduce to you something called Operative Philosophy™, consider it the driverʼs manual to life. This philosophy – which goes far beyond the typical definition of how philosophy is termed today – was built based on the understanding that there are natural laws governing the universe and in order for one to truly succeed, as a “human being,” and apart of this universe, one must abide by and master its laws. The teaching of Operative Philosophy is the progenitor of authentic Hermetic Philosophy and its archetype Hermes Trismegistus. The aim is to create true authentic “human beings”, a right that is not inherited, but earned. What does it mean to be an authentic human being as opposed to being just Homo Sapiens? Being Conscious and in Control of Your Own Internal World and Your Relationship to the Universe and everything around you. This is all we strive for. There are multiple levels of being conscious, and continuously evolving to increase this consciousness is the work/challenge that we undertake here at the Institute of Hermetic Philosophy. Practically: we aim to understand and overcome our negative and unconscious habits and raising our energy. We focus on becoming conscious and aware of our negative thinking and taking responsibility for our own actions, as we understand the laws that govern, and the effects it has on us as individuals and the world. This philosophy increases our efficiency as human beings, allowing us to cope and excel in daily life. Not flying off the handle; always maintaining a state of conscious calm. Operative Philosophy™ can help us grow as human beings and contribute towards the improvement of humanity. The best way to change the world is to change oneself first. ============================== About The Institute for Hermetic Philosophy We are a worldwide community committed to improving ourselves as human beings. These changes are obtained through the practice of Operative Philosophy, which is founded in Hermeticism, and is a form of mental engineering that permits humans beings to attain concrete objectives in life, happiness, and the ability to find oneself. We face life with strength and optimism, by understanding that everything that happens to us, whether positive or negative, can be a wonderful challenge and a unique opportunity to test ourselves and our human quality. We see life as a laboratory that permits us to understand the correspondence between the events that take place in our life and the causes that created them. This understanding bringing us closer to real wisdom. The Institute for Hermetic Philosophy is an open philosophical association that creates an environment of support for all of its members in order for them to work on themselves and prosper in life. It is a place that fosters hope for a better world, peace and mutual understanding among all human beings, of all races, gender, religion, country or social status. It is neither dogmatic nor sectarian, and anyone who wishes to discover and cultivate their inner world may become a member. How Our Pets Help & Heal Our Hearts with Dr. Stephen Sinatra

“Our pets give us so much. They go with us on adventures, comfort us when we’re down, and help us heal when we’re broken. Every day, they remind us that life should be lived in the moment and with enthusiasm. And most importantly, they love us unconditionally—no questions asked.” -Dr. Stephen Sinatra How Our Pets Help & Heal Our Hearts By Stephen T. Sinatra, M.D., F.A.C.C., F.A.C.N., C.N.S., C.B.T. We tend not to think of pets as a natural remedy for what ails us, but I have found that pets, both in my personal life and the lives of my patients, to be nothing less than that. They are indeed natural remedies. They work by healing with unconditional love. I have often stopped in my busy tracks to give thanks for the blessing of a happy family life, and that includes the dogs who have enriched my life as well. During a medical conference lecture several years ago, one of the doctors in the audience asked whether I had any experience on the healing benefits of companion animals. Although I couldn’t quantify the degree of benefit, I said that many patients indeed have told me over the years how comforting their pets have been to them and how they considered their animals a vital part of recovery. Some said they couldn’t wait to come back to their animals following surgery or hospitalization. Medical research supports the healing benefits of companion animals. Specifically, they have been found to: Significantly increase longevity among people with coronary artery disease who have a heart attack. Reduce blood pressure. Enhance the opportunity to meet other people as well as permit people to be alone without being lonely. About Dr. Stephen Sinatra Dr. Stephen Sinatra is a highly respected and sought-after cardiologist whose integrative approach to treating cardiovascular disease has revitalized patients with even the most advanced forms of illness. His expertise is grounded in more than 40 years of clinical practice, research, and study beginning as an attending physician at Manchester Memorial Hospital (Eastern Connecticut Health Network). His career there included nine years as chief of cardiology, 18 years as director of medical education, seven years as director of echocardiography, three years as director of cardiac rehabilitation, and one year as director of the weight reducing program. In 1987, Dr. Sinatra founded the New England Heart Center. Through it, he became a well-known advocate of combining conventional medical treatments for heart disease with complementary nutritional, anti-aging, and psychological therapies. Today Dr. Sinatra is active primarily as an author, speaker, and advisor for the research and development of nutritional supplements. He joined the Healthy Directions family of experts in 1995. Websites: www.drsinatra.com / www.vervana.com / www.agelesspaws.com ======================================= Helping Your Pet Age the Healthiest Way Possible As a cardiologist who’s spent a career helping human patients, I’ve learned a lot of things about aging and how to get the most out of our years. One of them is just how important our pets are to our own health. For example, did you know that heart attack survivors have better recoveries when they come home to a pet? Or that pets help keep our stress hormones in check, which protects us from disease? I’ve also learned that much of what I know to be true about keeping people healthy can be used to help keep pets healthy, too. When Chewie started getting up in years, I made sure she got plenty of omega-3 fatty acids from healthy fish and nutritional supplements, to keep her joints flexible. I also started giving her regular doses of Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) to support the ability of her cells (especially the ones in her heart) to produce and burn energy. I’d seen incredible results prescribing CoQ10 for my human patients. And though I’m not a veterinarian, I saw a noticeable difference in Chewie, as well. Here at Ageless Paws, it’s my goal to share information like this with you—to help you understand not only the health challenges that your dog or cat may face, but also the healthy, natural options you have for addressing them. ============================ 19 Ways Your Dog Makes Your Life Awesome Share on FacebookTweet about this on TwitterShare on LinkedIn By Stephen T. Sinatra, M.D., F.A.C.C., F.A.C.N., C.N.S., C.B.T. If I could bottle and distribute all the benefits that come from dog ownership, I’d be the most popular doc on the planet. That’s because science has clearly shown that sharing your life with a dog is good for your body, mind, and soul. A dog can lick your face—as well as help you lick a long list of chronic ailments. In a nutshell, dogs are awesome! Here are 19 human reasons why dogs are the best (that’s 133 dog reasons): 1. Dogs Dig Walking. As a cardiologist, I love anything that encourages folks to walk on a regular basis. And I’ve never met a dog that doesn’t want or need to be walked daily. Not coincidentally, research has shown that dog owners walk 22 minutes more a day than people without dogs. All those extra daily steps you take while walking your dog can make a real difference in your health and well-being. Your Pup Protects Your Heart. Just like your dog will protect his favorite toy or his food bowl, he will also protect your heart. Dog ownership has been found to lower your risk of cardiovascular disease and reduce your risk of cardiovascular and all-cause death because dogs encourage us to engage in more outdoor activities, keep us more active throughout the day, and prevent us from being lonely.   Petting Your Pooch Boosts Immunity. Immunoglobulin A (IgA) is one of the most common antibodies in the body. Higher levels of IgA indicate a robust immune system that can help you fight off illnesses. As it turns out, simply petting a dog raises the level of IgA in your saliva. Rex Helps You Relax. Interacting with a dog can increase the amount of oxytocin in your body. Oxytocin plays a key role in relaxation and feelings of well-being. So, after a stressful day at work or when you need some relief from the pressures of caring for a loved one, playing with your dog is a fun and natural way to unwind. Canine Companions Calm the Mind. A dog’s ever-present love can be a calming, reassuring factor in anyone’s life. And particularly for those dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anxiety, or depression, there is a wealth of evidence suggesting that service dogs or therapy dogs can dramatically improve mental health, enhance sleep quality, and boost feelings of social well-being. Fluffy Will Find You Friends—Or Get You a Date… I have a colleague who owns three Beagles. When she moved to a different city, she says she got to know practically all of her neighbors while on her daily dog walks. Owning a pet makes you seem more social, which can encourage others to stop and strike up a conversation with you. And listen up, single guys: Women are more willing to give their phone numbers to men with dogs. …But Fido Can ALSO Make You Feel Safe. I’ve talked to a lot of women, and even some men, who don’t want to walk or jog outside alone, because they’re worried about their safety. A big dog can be a great deterrent to those who want to harass you. Your Dog Helps You Follow Doctor’s Orders. This one’s great news for me and other doctors—as well as for all dog owners. A study from the American Humane Association shows that dogs motivate children fighting cancer to follow their doctor’s instructions. While this particular study focuses on kids, the concept likely applies to adults as well. Dogs Are Better Than Pain Meds. As opioid addiction becomes an increasingly serious problem, it’s vital that doctors find alternative ways for patients to handle pain. One study has shown that people who’ve undergone total joint replacement surgery needed 28 percent less pain medication when they had contact with therapy dogs. Hounds Keep You Hopping. Because dogs are, by nature, creatures of habit, they love a good routine. They like to get up early in the morning, rain or shine. They often demand food at certain times of the day. And, of course, dogs need to go outside to do their business early and often. Living with a dog will encourage you to follow a regular schedule as well, which improves and enhances your health. Dogs Are Happy to Help Everyone. Giving to others through volunteerism is an important way to connect yourself to your community. Volunteering your time to an important cause also boosts self-esteem and instills a sense of purpose. If you get your pet trained as a therapy dog you can both volunteer at hospitals, schools, prisons, and other places where people might need emotional support. In the process of helping others, you’ll also help yourself. See Spot, Then Smile. As far as I’m concerned, it’s nearly impossible to watch a happy dog at play and not break into a smile. Since smiling offers both psychological and physical benefits, from improving your mood to lowering your heart rate, living with a funny furry friend allows you ample opportunity to turn your frown upside down. No One Hates Dogs—Except Burglars. Home security experts, as well as former burglars themselves, will tell you that the best way to protect your home is with a dog. And it’s not because dogs can bite. It’s because they can bark, alerting you to the fact that someone is invading their territory. So, you don’t need to adopt a giant guard dog to feel more secure in your home. In most cases, it simply takes a barking dog (even a wee little one) to scare off intruders. Trained Dogs Can Do Just About Anything for You! Most dogs are quite trainable and actually like the training process, since it gives them purpose. The range of tasks that a dog can learn to perform for you is truly amazing. Want your dog to fetch you a drink from the fridge? Once properly trained, your bulldog can become your butler! Although it requires specialized training, some dogs can even be used for screening people for lung, bowel, and ovarian cancer. Kids Grow Up Healthier with a Dog Around. Just about every kid wants a dog to love. In return, dogs can actually boost kids’ health, especially if dogs are introduced to the home when children are young. Kids who are at risk of developing eczema have been shown to have a reduced risk if they have a dog living with them. In addition, children at risk of developing allergies and asthma also face a reduced risk when their household includes a dog while they are infants. That means having a family dog can make your whole family healthier and happier. Dogs Bring Out the Adult in You. As great as dogs are, they can’t take care of themselves. In exchange for their unwavering loyalty, dogs need us to be responsible for them and patient with them. Learning how to exercise responsibility and patience for your dog—and throughout the rest of your life—pays huge dividends personally and professionally. You’re Never Alone with a Dog. Loneliness can be downright debilitating. It can actually cause your brain to go haywire. Enough social isolation can even make you hallucinate and imagine that you see ghosts! Luckily, a dog is a constant companion—morning, noon, and night. Even when your friends don’t have time for a visit, your dog always has time for you. Watch Rover Roll Over—And Other Fun Stuff. I’ve always found it much more enjoyable to watch my dogs play in the backyard than to sit in front of the TV. Dogs’ enthusiasm for life is aspirational, and their energy is contagious. It’s even more fun when you also get involved in a game of fetch or tug-of-war. There Is a Reason Dogs Are Called Man’s Best Friend. Perhaps I’ve saved the best for last: Dogs epitomize unconditional love. On a daily basis, dogs will prove their steadfast devotion by greeting you as if you just returned from battle even though you only went to the grocery store or refusing to leave your side when you come down with a cold. Then there’s even one dog who traveled 2,800 miles to reunite with its beloved family. When you have that kind of love walking at your side or resting at your feet, life is awesome and anything is possible! how pets heal your heart, do

Find out more at www.larrywinget.com Quotes By Larry Winget The Secret is without a doubt the biggest load of crap ever put on paper. The marketplace doesn’t care what I love. The market only cares what value I bring. There is no value to anyone but me, my bulldog, grandkids and wife on my list. That’s why no one will pay me for it. The world, and therefore the workplace, is full of idiots. And the reality of life is that when you get rid of one idiot, another will show up to take his place. It’s the curse of humanity. If it’s a good idea, do it today. Not tomorrow. A good idea rarely gets better over time. Be confident. There is no one who is not attracted to confidence. Women dig it. Men love it. Confidence adds hair, drops ten pounds, and takes off ten years. Businesses get better only when the people in the business get better. Don’t be different. Different scares people. People won’t spend their money on different. They will, however, pay a premium for unique. Every single person on the planet is rewarded for one thing and one thing only, and that is for serving other people. The more you serve others, the higher your reward. I made a deal that I would spend money on only one thing: getting smarter. I bought books. I would skip a meal and skip watching television, but I wouldn’t skip an investment in my brain. Three main reasons people are not successful: They are stupid. They are lazy. They don’t give a damn. If you are unhappy, unsuccessful, sick, or broke – please just keep it to yourself. The rest of us don’t want or need to hear about it, so don’t feel compelled to share! If your life sucks, it’s because you suck. Mediocre people will be intimidated by your success. That’s because they haven’t been willing to do whatever it takes to achieve their dreams, so their retaliation is to attack you for doing what they haven’t been willing to do. The Vine of Death, Ayahuasca

The Vine of Death, Ayahuasca Banisteriopsis Caapi, also known as caapi or yajé, is a South American jungle vine of the family Malpighiaceae. It is used to prepare the plant medicine called ayahuasca, the name of which means “vine of the soul”. [Republished from Heathline.com] Ayahuasca — also known as the tea, the vine, and la purga — is a brew made from the leaves of the Psychotria viridis shrub along with the stalks of the Banisteriopsis caapi vine, though other plants and ingredients can be added as well. Featured Guests (In Order Of Appearance) Tom Lishman / Metaphysical Teacher Kerrie O’Connor / Psychic Medium & Outer Limits of Inner Truth Virtue The shamans of the indigenous western Amazonian tribes use the medicine as a plant teacher in religious and healing ceremonies during which a person goes in to trance which lasts approximately four hours which allows them to enter the world of the spirits and communicate with them. In addition to its visioning properties, ayahuasca is used for its healing properties as a purgative, effectively cleansing the body of parasites and helping the digestive tract. The most important active component in ayahuasca as far as its visionary qualities are concerned is a substance called DMT (dimethyltryptamine). DMT has a powerful effect on consciousness, producing detailed and very bright and colourful visions and it is said by many that it allows you to connect to your soul. How is Ayahuasca used? Though Ayahuasca was traditionally used for religious and spiritual purposes by specific populations, it has become popular worldwide among those who seek a way to open their minds, heal from past traumas, or simply experience an Ayahuasca journey. It’s strongly recommended that Ayahuasca only be taken when supervised by an experienced shaman, as those who take it need to be looked after carefully, as an Ayahuasca trip leads to an altered state of consciousness that lasts for many hours. Many people travel to countries like Peru, Costa Rica, and Brazil, where multi-day Ayahuasca retreats are offered. They’re led by experienced shamans, who prepare the brew and monitor participants for safety. Before partaking in an Ayahuasca ceremony, it’s recommended that participants abstain from cigarettes, drugs, alcohol, sex, and caffeine to purify their bodies. It’s also often suggested to follow various diets, such as vegetarianism or veganism, for 2–4 weeks prior to the experience. This is claimed to free the body of toxins. Quotes About Ayahuasca There are all kinds of ways to challenge ourselves. Some people do it by climbing a mountain or scuba diving. The most profound and challenging ordeals is to drink Ayahuasca. It is in a way the ultimate adventure. Graham Hancock All politicians should be required to drink Ayahuasca 10 times before taking office. Graham Hancock Ayahuasca loves to take prideful people and rub their nose in it. I mean it can make you beg for mercy like nothing. You have to really approach it humbly. Terence McKenna “When you drink ayahuasca, and you get to see divinity, you can almost never speak of it because it’s too big for words.” ― Gerard Armond Powell “The plants that produce visions can function- for those of us who have inherited the New World Order of barren materialism, cut off from our spiritual heritage by a spiteful culture that gives us nothing but ashes- as the talismans of recognition that awaken our minds to reality.” ― Daniel Pinchbeck “I believe we are a species with amnesia, I think we have forgotten our roots and our origins. I think we are quite lost in many ways. And we live in a society that invests huge amounts of money and vast quantities of energy in ensuring that we all stay lost. A society that invests in creating unconsciousness, which invests in keeping people asleep so that we are just passive consumers or products and not really asking any of the questions.” – Graham Hancock “You are one miniscule piece of a never-ending cycle. In fact, you’re not even a piece. You’re just a holder for billions and billions of other pieces. Whether that’s organic components, living organisms inside your body, bacteria or whatever it is, you’re just part of the soup of the universe, so just try to enjoy what’s good about it.” – Joe Rogan

The Fire of Liberty with Naomi Wolf

The Fire of Liberty with Naomi Wolf One of the world’s most influential feminists and bestselling author Naomi Wolf doesn’t just comment on the world’s most pervasive problems, she aims to solve them. At age 23, Dr. Wolf published The Beauty Myth, her landmark international bestseller that challenged the cosmetics industry and the marketing of unrealistic beauty standards. Considered one of the most important books of the 20th century by the New York Times, the book launched a new wave of feminism and is still taught on campuses around the world. Naomi Wolf completed a D.Phil. in English Literature from the University of Oxford in 2015 and taught Victorian Studies as a Visiting Professor at SUNY Stony Brook. She was a research fellow at the Barnard Center for Research on Women and at the Rothermere American Institute at the University of Oxford. She taught English Literature at George Washington University as a visiting lecturer. She’s lectured widely on the themes in Outrages: Sex, Censorship and the Criminalization of Love at the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford, at Balliol College, Oxford, and to the undergraduates in the English Faculty at the University of Oxford. She spoke about the themes in Outrages for the first LGBTQ Colloquium at Rhodes House. Naomi Wolf is a former Rhodes Scholar and a Yale graduate. She’s written eight nonfiction bestsellers, about women’s issues and about civil liberties, and is the CEO of DailyClout.io, a news site which explains US state and Federal legislation. She holds an honorary doctorate from Sweet Briar College. She and her family live in New York City. Website Link: hhttp://outragesbook.com/ Get A Free Copy of Outrages by Emailing: naomi@dailyclout.io Until 1857, the State did not link the idea of homosexuality to deviancy. In the same year, the concept of the obscene was coined. New York Times best-selling author Naomi Wolf’s Outrages is the story, brilliantly told, of why this two-pronged State repression took hold — first in England and spreading quickly to America — and why it was attached so dramatically, for the first time, to homosexual men. Before 1857, it wasn’t homosexuality that was a crime, but the act of sodomy. But in a single stroke, not only did love between men become illegal, but anything referring to this love alsowas ruled obscene, unprintable, unspeakable. Wolf paints the dramatic ways this played out among a bohemian group of sexual dissidents, including American poet Walt Whitman and closeted English critic John Addington Symonds, as, decades before the infamous 1895 trial of Oscar Wilde, dire prison terms became the government’s penalty for homosexuality. Most powerfully, Wolf recounts how a dying Symonds helped write the book on sexual inversion that created our modern understanding of homosexuality. And she argues that his secret memoir, mined here fully for the first time, stands as the first gay rights manifesto in the West. Naomi Wolf Quotes Peaceful, lawful protest – if it is effective – is innately disruptive of ‘business as usual.’ That is why it is effective. The press doesn’t stop publishing, by the way, in a fascist escalation; it simply watches what it says. That too can be an incremental process, and the pace at which the free press polices itself depends on how journalists are targeted. To live in a culture in which women are routinely naked where men aren’t is to learn inequality in little ways all day long. So even if we agree that sexual imagery is in fact a language, it is clearly one that is already heavily edited to protect men’s sexual – and hence social – confidence while undermining that of women. A cultural fixation on female thinness is not an obsession about female beauty but an obsession about female obedience. A Mother who radiates self-love and self-acceptance actually VACCINATES her daughter against low self-esteem. Only one thing is more frightening than speaking your truth, and that is not speaking. The First Amendment applies to rogues and scoundrels. You don’t lose your First Amendment rights because of a sleazy personality, or even for having committed a crime. Felons in jail are protected by the First Amendment.

Surfing The Anxiety Wave

The Outer Limits of Inner Truth proudly presents a show about the psychical, psychological, and metaphysical aspects of anxiety. It features four fantastic experts who offer an abundance of helpful advice. Experiencing occasional anxiety is a normal part of life. However, people with anxiety disorders frequently have intense, excessive and persistent worry and fear about everyday situations. Often, anxiety disorders involve repeated episodes of sudden feelings of intense anxiety and fear or terror that reach a peak within minutes (panic attacks). These feelings of anxiety and panic interfere with daily activities, are difficult to control, are out of proportion to the actual danger and can last a long time. You may avoid places or situations to prevent these feelings. Symptoms may start during childhood or the teen years and continue into adulthood. Examples of anxiety disorders include generalized anxiety disorder, social anxiety disorder (social phobia), specific phobias and separation anxiety disorder. You can have more than one anxiety disorder. Sometimes anxiety results from a medical condition that needs treatment. (In Order of Appearance) 03:31 – Steven C.
