NEW to MHNR Network! Transpired With Seth Carlson, a Podcast to Help Those Within the Transgender Community

Mental Health News Radio Network Welcomes Transpired With Seth Carlson, a Podcast to Help the Transgender Community and Those that Love Them.

“Everyone deserves to feel validated in their struggles, and everyone deserves to not feel like a burden or an outcast. I want to use my voice and platform to inform and provide insight so that life can be a little easier through their journey. I want to let those parents know, to let those questioning their gender know, that I’ve been through this, and they can absolutely get through it too. Happiness is on the other side of this.” – Seth Carlson

After the mother of a client had an incredible emotional impact on Seth Carlson he decided to begin his podcast, Transpired.  His client’s mother shared her tears of joy after her own transgender child used the tools he had learned from Seth to successfully make it through a very rough and suicidal time.  Seth’s goal is to gain a broader reach and help as many people that are struggling and questioning their gender, their parents, and anyone who just wants to understand a little bit more.  As a life coach and mentor to those within the transgender community, Seth uses his own life experiences and everything he’s learned while mentoring within the community to help others know that they are not alone and that they can get through this.

Seth feels that the most important thing that cisgender individuals (those that identify with their born gender) need to try to understand that it’s more than just a label. Being transgender comes with some of the most difficult mental health struggles imaginable. He wishes to use his knowledge and experience to help those struggling with their own issues.

Anthony Metten Brings Us IndividuationNOW, a New Podcast Discussing Exactly How to Achieve the Personal, Career, and Business Successes that Come with Being Your Authentic Self.

“My goal is to reach as many people as possible, and make the word Individuation mainstream, and understood by the masses — at all stages of life — and provide the empowering, breakthrough concept of IndividuationNOW and a powerful set of constructs that will help them attain truly life-changing insights.” – Anthony Metten

Anthony Metton invites everyone to jump in and take a ride as he asks, “Are you going to go through this life as the driver, understanding the process and where it is taking you, or will you be the white-knuckled passenger holding on for dear life?” Anthony has helped thousands enact their own personal visions and journeys. His work as a corporate trainer, keynote speaker, and International Coach Federation Professional Certified Coach led him to the theory of ‘individuation.’

Individuation is the transformation we take in order to become distinct and decide what will distinguish us from others. During this pandemic, without a ‘normal’ in the foreseeable future, people of all walks of life are feeling anxiety, strife, and uncertainty about many things. Anthony is here to help unlock what is really at the core of who we are as the results can be fascinating, profound, and possibly even life-changing.

IndividuationNOW is all about recognizing that who you are from birth isn’t necessarily who you are meant to be as an adult and that it truly is up to you.

NEW to MHNR Network: The Dr. Carolyn Coker Ross Show – Helping Your Relationship with Food, Your Body, and Your Past

Finding Peace with Food and Your Body by Learning How Past Trauma Makes an Impact, with Dr. Carolyn Coker Ross.

“Eating disorders impact so many, taking years from their lives and also while alive, occupying so much of their time and energy. I feel that eating disorders are used as a solution to the problem of unhealed trauma, abuse or neglect. When in fact, food can’t fix trauma, abuse, or neglect.“ – Dr. Carolyn Coker Ross

Dr. Carolyn Coker Ross is new to MHNR Network with her podcast, “The Dr. Carolyn Coker Ross Show,” which focuses on binge eating, food addiction, emotional eating, and the relationship to unresolved trauma. Food addiction is unique in that it requires sufferers to learn how to maintain a healthy relationship with their ‘drug’ of choice, food. An alcoholic or drug addict is able to try to avoid their drug of choice.  Food Addiction is more complicated than that. Those that suffer with unhealthy food relationships understand exactly how difficult this can be.

Dr. Coker Ross brings with her vast knowledge working with those suffering from addictions and eating disorders to the public with her podcast. Her goal is to help educate listeners about the in’s and out’s of binge eating disorder, food addiction, and emotional eating. She’s here trying to help those whose lives have been ‘hijacked’ by binge eating, emotional eating and food addiction. The drive to be thin, or using food to push down unwanted emotions can be helped. There is a correlation between past traumas and many unhealthy eating behaviors. Beginning the path to healing the trauma can help on the road to a healthy relationship with food.

NEW to MHNR Network:  Pivot Work Podcast with Elizabeth Belliveau!

Elizabeth Belliveau brings us Pivot Work, a podcast to help normalize the need to adapt in life.  Pivot Work is all about those moments of our lives in which we decide to pause and reevaluate, pivot, and reinvent ourselves.

“So many of us fall into the trap of ‘good for always’ versus ‘good for now’, as I call it in therapy. Or we feel as though if something works for a while, it will always work. That’s simply not true. Our lives, needs, goals, plans, and work changes throughout our lives. So many of us become debilitated by this, and I want people to see pivot moments as moments of hope.” – Elizabeth Belliveau

Feeling creatively stifled by the limits the pandemic had placed on this year, Elizabeth Belliveau has taken the year and all of its changes in tow as she is trying to make some changes herself in how she finds ways to reach out to help others. She has noted a common theme within clients and colleagues that many are having to find ways to reinvent themselves in an ever-changing world. While this is incredibly important, it is also difficult work for anyone who finds themselves having to make life changes as change is often full of anxiety and uncertainty.  She wants people to remember that we all have the innate resilience to overcome even the most difficult obstacles.

Elizabeth finds great value in helping others share their stories of reflection, change, and the hard work that goes into it. She is trying to help, on a broad scale, anyone who is needing to reinvent themselves in ways that require imagination and resilience.  Hearing how others have navigated their lives during these moments of reflection and ‘Pivots’ within their lives can help remind us that we aren’t alone.  The stories to be featured on Pivot Work will remind us that we all have choices and can rise above the uncertainties, the setbacks, and the trajectory changes.

NEW to MHNR’s Narcissistic Abuse Network: Negotiate Your Best Life with Rebecca Zung!

Our Narcissistic Abuse Healing Network welcomes “Negotiate Your Best Life” with bestselling author and one of the top 1% divorce attorneys, Rebecca Zung! We are excited that she is here to give a no-nonsense approach to dealing with those unavoidable difficult narcissists.

“Even as a lawyer, who has been the recipient of many prestigious accolades and had a very successful law practice, even I could be the victim of narcissists. It wreaked serious havoc in my life and seriously traumatized me. Narcissists are very skilled at manipulation – they are very cunning and charismatic. They don’t attach themselves to you because you have no value, quite the contrary – they attach themselves because you have SO much. But with the right tools, mindset, strategies, and leverage, you absolutely CAN turn it around. You can shift the dynamic and come out on top..” – Rebecca Zung

“Negotiate Your Best Life,” takes all of Rebecca Zung’s years of legal negotiation tactics and her many encounters with narcissists, and combines them to help everyone that needs to learn how to manage these people that come into our space and act like leeches and do nothing but up-end our lives. She has seen what they call ‘their good’, their bad, and their ugly and is here to help all gain a better understanding of how these people work and why they do what they do. Whether you need help learning to identify these individuals, or how to manage them more effectively, this addition to our Narcissistic Abuse Network can absolutely give you some incredible tips.

Join Rebecca as she shares her vast knowledge to assist in identifying and managing the toxic people and narcissists that come your way. She wants to help empower as many as she can to handle these horribly disruptive life situations before they do more damage. Her podcast, “Negotiate Your Best Life,” is here to help you do just that.

Dr. Denise McDermott, M.D. has been in private practice since 2001. As a medical doctor with board certifications in both Adult and Child Psychiatry, she treats children, adolescents, and adults. Her goal is to empower all to live the best life possible. Her approach is to encourage people to believe in wellness, not illness, and to lead a balanced healthy lifestyle. As an integrative adult and child psychiatrist, Dr. Denise bridges Eastern and Western modalities of healing in order to help others go from ‘crisis’ to being able to thrive and reach their goals.

Learning a non-shaming way of handling difficult life situations while growing up, primarily through her father’s journey of sobriety, her parents nicknamed her their “little Ann Landers,” as she was always the go-to person for advice within her circle throughout her life. Dr. Denise realized during her 3rd-year medical school rotations that mental wellness was key for optimum health which brought her into the psychiatric field. Dr. Denise adopted her son at birth and his neuro-style challenges and intuitive giftedness keep her day to day life hopping!  His exuberance keeps her young and connected to “Mission: Mental Wellness.”  To stay fit, creative, and sane she swims six to seven days a week as her own “mind medicine.” Check out her website here: www.drdenisemd.com.
