She completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Southern Colorado (1992), and both her Master’s (1995) and Doctorate in Counseling Psychology (1999) from Indiana State University. She also earned a Master of Science in Public Health degree (2000) from the University of Missouri-Columbia where she completed a Post-Doctoral Fellowship in the university’s Department of Family and Community Medicine. She has received specialized training from the Mind-Body Medical Institute of Harvard University, and has been trained in various holistic, natural health, and spiritual methods of healing.
