Susan Horan Bertrand — Creating Hope from Tragedy
Susan is the founder of Maureen’s Hope, a non-profit organization in central NY that provides individualized help and support to people with life-threatening illness. The Foundation provides a variety of services for patients, such as snow blowing and housecleaning, to holiday baskets for children. She also offers a spa day for mothers of ill children. Her interest in supporting very ill patients came after her younger sister, Maureen, lost her two year battle with cancer. This month, She will be awarded the 2018 Nonprofit Impact Award.
